OVERVIEW
🎨 Designing a bold digital presence for the future of Web3 education
Disrup3 was created to equip the next generation of developers with the skills they need to thrive in the decentralized world. When the RACKS team approached us, their mission was clear: build a standout website that could explain a complex offering (Web3 + fullstack development), attract students, and feel as cutting-edge as the tech behind it.
As the UX/UI designer, I led the end-to-end experience from defining the strategy and structure, to delivering a bold and intuitive interface ready to scale. Here’s how we brought it to life.
DISCOVERY & RESEARCH
We started with a deep dive into the Web3 education space, analyzing how other bootcamps present their value and more importantly, how they fall short.
Mapped out the competitive landscape of tech education and Web3 training.
Interviewed potential students to understand their pain points, expectations and motivations.
Developed quick personas to guide decision-making, balancing technical and non-technical user needs.
🧠 Insight: Many platforms overcomplicate blockchain concepts. Our challenge was to simplify without dumbing down.
STRUCTURING THE EXPERIENCE
With clarity as our north star, we shaped the site’s architecture around real user goals: understand what the bootcamp offers, see who's behind it and know how to apply.
Designed a site map and flow that made sense for both curious explorers and committed applicants.
Created low-fidelity wireframes to test layout, content hierarchy and calls-to-action.
Iterated based on feedback from stakeholders and user testing.
🌟 Goal: A clean, logical path from landing to application, with no dead ends or confusion.
VISUAL IDENTITY & UI DESIGN
We knew the visual design needed to feel tech-forward, but also credible, bold and human. Using a dark theme with vibrant accent colors, we gave the interface a sleek but accessible vibe, like a Web3 console designed for the curious.
Built a visual style guide aligned with Disrup3 and Racks Labs’ branding.
Created high-fidelity mockups that felt modern, inviting and a little bit rebellious.
Emphasized clarity in typography and interaction design to balance the bold aesthetics.
🎯 Result: A digital space that feels like part learning hub, part launchpad for the Web3 era.
HANDOFF & DEVELOPMENT
Once the designs were approved, we worked closely with developers to ensure a smooth handoff, making sure every component was responsive, functional and optimized for performance.
Delivered specs and redlines for an efficient build.
Supported the team through QA and browser/device testing.
Integrated backend features like course applications and email signup.
💬 The final product launched without friction, meeting all project milestones and ready to scale.
AFTER LAUNCH
The website became a key touchpoint in Disrup3’s launch, helping drive visibility and interest from students, partners and mentors across the Web3 space.
Performance tracking via heatmaps and analytics tools.
Continuous updates based on feedback and enrollment trends.
Content and interaction tweaks to increase conversion and clarity.
FROM VISION TO EXECUTION
Designing for a fast-evolving space like Web3 means leading with clarity, creativity, and constant iteration. This project was an exciting blend of clean UX, bold UI, and the kind of collaboration that makes ideas real.
From vision to execution, we helped shape a platform that introduces the future of tech to the next generation of builders.
