OVERVIEW
🎨 Mutter Ventures - Website Redesign
Their website is the heart of their brand, a space to showcase their portfolio, share their values and connect with future partners and investors. But when I joined the team, that digital front door wasn’t doing them justice. It felt outdated, unclear, and lacked the kind of punch their work deserved.
I contributed in the complete redesign of the Mutter Ventures website, with a clear goal: to elevate their digital presence and reflect the innovation happening behind the scenes.
MY ROLE
🧠 UX/UI Designer
In charge of reimagining the platform from the ground up, making it more intuitive, visually striking and aligned with both the business’ strategic goals and the needs of its users.
I worked closely with developers, brand strategists, and stakeholders to bring the site to life, ensuring everything was scalable, accessible, and conversion-oriented.
WHAT NEEDED TO CHANGE
The original site wasn’t meeting the expectations of its target users, mainly investors and startup founders. Key issues included:
A confusing content structure that buried important information.
Poor responsiveness across devices.
Weak visual identity and outdated design.
Unclear calls-to-action.
A lack of focus on storytelling, success metrics, and social proof.
APPROACH
We focused on clarity, simplicity, and credibility, making sure users could find what they needed quickly, while giving Mutter Ventures a bold, modern visual identity that set them apart in a crowded industry.
Here’s how we approached it:
👀 Understanding the Audience
We identified two main user groups:
Investors looking for high-potential companies.
Entrepreneurs interested in building startups with Mutter Ventures.
Both were short on time and looking for clear, trustworthy signals. I conducted interviews and competitor research to understand their priorities, behaviors and expectations.
🎯 Structuring the Experience
I reworked the information architecture to create a clear, scalable structure. We used logical navigation paths, clear sectioning and strong visual hierarchy to make every page feel intentional — not cluttered.
💡 Bringing the Brand to Life
The new visual design took cues from Mutter’s bold, forward-thinking ethos. The graphic design team introduced a refined color palette, modern typography and custom layouts that adapted beautifully across devices. We emphasized credibility through real project stories and results.
🌟 Streamlining the Message
Instead of technical jargon, we focused on what matters: the “why.” What Mutter does. Why it matters. Who it helps. What makes them different. The content was reworked to feel more human, direct and benefit-driven.
🚀 Launch, Learn, Improve
Once launched, we used analytics and user feedback to identify friction points and opportunities. I set up lightweight usability tracking to keep improving the experience post-launch.
IMPACT
The redesigned website positioned Mutter Ventures as a credible, cutting-edge venture builder.
It became a stronger tool for attracting startups and investors, better communicated the brand's value and significantly improved user engagement across all key pages.
