🔮 Website Redesign for a Debt Relief Legal Platform

Saldados is a legal platform that guides users through Spain’s “Ley de la Segunda Oportunidad,” helping people cancel their debts and start fresh. The original website lacked clarity, emotional connection, and modern functionality.

My task was to redesign the entire experience to feel more human, trustworthy and intuitive, while still handling complex legal content.

CHALLENGE

Debt can be overwhelming and legal services intimidating.

Saldados needed to strike a delicate balance between professionalism and empathy.

The challenge was to make a legal service feel friendly, understandable and actionable for users often in distress.

APPROACH

😎 Reframing the User Journey

We restructured the navigation and page flow around real user needs:

“¿Cómo eliminamos tus deudas?” speaks directly to the user’s situation.
Simple forms help visitors determine if they qualify in seconds.
Clear CTAs guide users toward solutions without pressure.

🥷🏽 Writing for Humans

We rewrote dense legal copy in everyday Spanish, using reassuring and empowering language. Headlines like “Ayudamos a personas como tú a empezar de nuevo” reduce fear and invite action.

🪷 Visual Redesign

The site’s visual tone needed a major refresh. I introduced:

A soft, trustworthy blue palette.
Rounded, modern typography.
Custom icons to explain complex services.
Testimonials and real data to boost credibility.

We made trust a key design principle:

Before/after scenarios to show tangible impact.
Video testimonials that humanize the service.

OUTCOME

The new Saldados site is a modern, empathetic platform that puts users first.

It feels like talking to someone who understands your situation, not reading a lawyer’s brochure. Since launch, the site has seen increased time on page, smoother lead qualification and more trust from users seeking real help.
